Pebble Beach Seaview Restaurant & Rooms

Where do I start? We arrived on Monday and the staff were accommodating and friendly, they all seem to chip in and work well as individuals but also as a team, chipping in to help their colleagues when needed. We met the Owner, the Manager and a majority of the staff. The location is SUPERB - right on the cliff top with a stunning view of The Isle of White and The Needles. The room was as expected, lovely bed, plenty of facilities and a nice over bath shower. Easy to get to the beach and wander along it. The Restaurant is CLOSED on Monday and Tuesday - which I had nt come across before - but that day they serve a superb Continental style breakfast which is really good. The rest of the week, the cooked Breakfast was one of, if not, the best I have had. Well cooked simple ingredients in a good portion size. The lighter bites were equally as good. We only had chance to eat in once, and again the Sunday Lunch was near perfect in all aspects. There is an on site bar - during our stay it was staffed by 'David' who we soon discovered mixes some really good cocktails from their in house menu but also has the skill set to go outside that menu and mix other cocktails as well - His Strawberry Margarita was a great hit with other staff members after we introduced it to them. There was an in house wedding on the Friday of our stay and we were obliged to 'go next door' to their associated 'Cafe' for breakfast - but that was no difficulty. All in all I am glad this place is some 350 miles from me at home - otherwise we would be there much more regularly!

The hotel is very tiny- only 4 rooms in total, but the rooms are very cozy and well appointed. The staff were all amazing and welcoming; they made you feel like you were at home! I love the feel of this place. Just a word of warning- the rooms are quite small (except the suite, which is nothing short of amazing). I was alone in my room, but it might have been difficult with more than one guest (suitcase space!). But the bed was so comfortable, and the nespresso machine was such a nice touch, that I wouldn't have minded the lack of space with an extra guest. This place gave me such a case of the "happy feels". Really quite perfect.

The accommodation was far better than I expected. We stayed in the Penthouse Suite, which had a huge terrace where we sat and looked out to sea. The queen sized bed was really comfortable. All rooms were of a high standard, top quality all the way. On the first morning we had a continental breakfast, which was brought to our suite and was the best one I have ever had - thanks Ellie :-) The other two days, we had breakfast in the restaurant, which was also excellent. You do have to book for an evening meal because they are always busy. All the staff were very friendly and polite. We were sorry to leave and will be back next year.

The room was wonderfully presented and spacious, with everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The location was quiet, peaceful and ideally situated on the seafront, with immediate access to leisurely walks along the cliff top or beachfront. Full English breakfast was excellent, and our hostess Megan was polite and efficient. Definitely 5 stars! I would highly recommend Pebble Beach for anybody looking for a relaxing break with wonderful staff and food.
